Mapping Locations From Unstructured Data With ARCGIS LocateXT
Coming up in the Digital Scholar Studio’s online space, Wednesday January 20th at 12:00pm (noon), Diana Ter-Ghazaryan will lead a workshop using ArcGIS LocateXT:
Imagine being able to map every location mentioned in a novel or a set of documents–ArcGIS LocateXT provides the solution! This new solution from ESRI helps quickly distill location information from massive amounts of unstructured data. Uncover location data inside Microsoft Office documents; Adobe PDF documents; and XML, HTML, and text files and publish extractions on a map!
Prior GIS experience is helpful, but not required, for this workshop.
