Excelling with Excel: A two-part webinar series
Coming up in the Digital Scholar Studio’s online space! Introducing a two-part webinar series on best practices, tips, and tricks for working with tabular data, appropriate for beginning to advanced users. These webinars will be focused primarily on textual data, rather than numerical data.

Part 1 will cover what Excel is good (and not so good) for, as well as alternative tools, Excel data entry best practices, and formulas for normalizing your data, dealing with special characters, joining and distributing data between cells, and working with sort/filter.
Part 2: Thursday, November 5th, 2:30-3:3pm! RSVP at go.fiu.edu/excelp2
Part 2 will build on part one and include more advanced formulas and concepts, such as working with hyperlinks, conditional formulas, and using Excel with external tools.
