It records architectural fa\u00e7ades, complex structures, production and supply facilities, accident sites, and large-volume components delivering realistic and true-to-detail scan results with a range of 150m per scan. The point cloud with color assigned can create realistic 3D models of the environment scanned.<\/p>\n The Draganflyer Commander<\/strong> helicopter is a professional quality, powerful, easy-to-fly aerial platform specifically designed for high endurance applications for agriculture, public safety, search and rescue, mapping, aerial photography and much more.<\/p>\n The MicaSense RedEdge\u2122<\/strong> is an advanced, lightweight, multispectral camera optimized for use in small unmanned aircraft systems. RedEdge\u2122 provides accurate multi-band data for agricultural remote sensing applications. You can create high resolution aerial photos and many vegetation indexes.<\/p>\n The RIEGL VZ-1000 V-Line 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner<\/strong> provides high speed, non-contact data acquisition using a narrow infrared laser beam and a fast scanning mechanism. Create accurate point clouds with this equipment.<\/p>\n 2 Garmin Etrex Legend HCx<\/strong> and 1 Magellan MobileMapper<\/strong> 6<\/strong> are available available for checkout to currently enrolled FIU students, faculty and staff. These GPS units can be checked out at the Circulation desk at the Green Library. Each unit is part of a kit that includes all cables and accessories, excluding batteries and SD cards.
